Week 13 Part B - Developing Online Advertising

Welcome back, readers, thanks for stopping by! Today I've created some adverts for my fake business, Rev01ution. Since this is new to me, I made different kinds. I found this activity to be especially challenging - hope it came out right!

This first one was a Brand Awareness ad. I think this will benefit my fake company because if it was real, this is where I'd need to start. People can't get interested until they've heard about it. I reused an image from a previous post because I feel it shows our circumstance without having to tell. This ad has my blogger site linked to the learn more call to action. I didn't put any audience restrictions because everyone uses the internet, and my products could help everyone.

The second is a Consideration - Engagement ad. I think this would benefit my business because my business is at a peculiar place; people know they're being tracked, and that they're being targeted, but they don't know how serious it is. So I want to engage them with education. My favorite educator in this area is Shoshana Zuboff, she explains in a very calm but effective way what's going on, so I linked her video to the call to action.

The last experiment in my ad-making journey is an Awareness - Reach ad, which I chose because my ads would really be about getting my brand out there, and creating awareness of the need for it. Since Reach ads go to the maximum amount of people, this should be a viable option. For this ad, I used my binary encapsulation image, which is visually what I imagine my program doing logically - creating a tunnel of data that protects yours as you traverse the internet.

So, faithful readers, I submit for your evaluation my first attempts at ad creation. Let there be light in a web of obscurity. Thanks again for the visit, hope to see you soon!
